Young Nonprofit Professionals: Preparing the Path for Leadership
With so many organizations and executive directors anticipating their succession and planning for it, there is a wealth of research that has emerged on the topic. Simultaneously, organizations like the Young Nonprofit Professionals Network are looking at ways for recruiting and sustaining young people in the nonprofit sector. It is an exciting time in the history of nonprofits where leadership dynamics are being explored and a new economy presents unique challenges.
Emily recently completed a survey of 172 young nonprofit professionals throughout the U.S. and has finished her report and findings in Young Nonprofit Professionals: Preparing the Path for Leadership. Emily will presenting her research at various venues across the U.S including the Council on Foundation's Leadership Summit: Generational Leadership Program.
